Good morning guys (yes, this morning is a way better than yesterday’s evening :) )! Yesterday we had a very hot evening in the office (and not because of the temperature)! The game was down yesterday for some time and we believe you deserve some explanations regarding this sudden outage of the site.

Probably “sudden” is not the right word. We actually had planned that at some point of time the number of registered users will reach the optimum and we will have to move the website to a more powerful server. However, we did not plan that it will happen so (!) soon – yesterday there was a real quiz “booooom”.

More than 1000 new users registered yesterday and another 1000+ tried to register – we are very sorry for the shortcomings. The good news are that the server is switched, and now we are able to host 10 000 new users …10 000 per day! So it is a new challenge for you, guys! :)

We also apologize to those players whose games yesterday were interrupted. We will contact those players personally via e-mail, and double amount of bets for the interrupted games will be returned immediately. If anybody, who had problems yesterday, is not contacted by QuizBoom.com – please feel free to approach us via support@quizboom.com by indicating your registered e-mail, approximate time of your game and your bet – we will check it in our system and return you the double amount of the bet for the interrupted games.
