Hello Friends,

It has been a while since we last posted an update on this part of the site which means at first we have some explaining to do and we will get back to that at the last paragraph of this entry. Meanwhile we wanted to point your attention towards some recent changes we introduced or reintroduced into the game.

· First of all to make the numbers look more attractive as well as to ease the pressure on regular players to have to play every day in order to not miss a game round we have now replaced daily game rounds with weekly rounds. This means that a new game round start every week on Wednesdays 22:00 GMT time and continues until Wednesday 21:59 the next week.

· Secondly we have increased the limit of allowed games per day. Currently any player can play up to 50 games every day. Furthermore – the amount of Your best games that are participating in rankings has been increased to 35, which means that if You play 100 games a week, best 35 of those games will participate in the weekly rank among others. So you can either play all games in one day, or spread them across the week.

· Finally we have reintroduced the bet range for QuizBoom and you are now able to place bets starting at 20 chips per game up to 100 chips. As the number of games in the round has increased we believe that allowing for higher bets to be placed will greatly increase the variety of results for experienced players as well as for newcomers.

So we have come to our excuses regarding the long period of silence – well, we have been working for the first three months of 2010 to deliver QuizBoom to facebook users so that everyone that likes the game but does not wish to spend money on it, can enjoy the game there. Playing on virtual money is fun and competitive as you can compare yourself to all of your friends and other players from all over the world. Currently we are working on another project that should and will greatly increase the amount of new players. In Summary, there is no real excuse apart from the volcanic ash :) and the fact that we were working hard and will continue to do so to deliver more competition and excitement to the game.
